"Digital audio is a crock of shit.

In 100 years this will this will be an accepted opinion.  The era of DATs, CDs, bytes and gigs will be considered the lowest ebb of human creativity.  Human expression and emoting have have succumbed to finger fondling of this little plastic bits (ever so cleverly).

The renaissance was a period when logic began to infringe itself upon art.  Pushing society away from a mystical point of view with intuitive expression. The renaissance was the beginning of the real dark ages. Magic, alchemy, mysticism and true spirituality were stomped out and traded in for right angles and perspective drawings. All expressions must fit the new mold.  Eventually and entire cosmology was discarded because it couldn't fit into a two-dimensional grid.  Mathematical correctness replaced ancient wisdom.  This "new art" attempted to assimilate a contrived notion of reality.  An anal based world view which has spread across the world like cancer.  This decrease has reached full manifestation, it has bubbled to the surface in a binary form- a digital stool with a dualist myopia; us/them, black/white, right/wrong, and finally- on/off."

Not to say that I'm against technology, but I love this statement.  Especially regarding music....vinyl is where its at, the sound is so much more natural, it flows around you naturally like an ocean wave enveloping your physical self.

Lie down and close your eyes and play an album, from start to finish...I did this today with jimi's band of gypsys.  Amazing
